🏷️ Tags
Tags are a flexible way to classify and filter your catalog. You can create as many as your workflow needs.
Tags apply to Designs and Products. They don't apply to customers or orders — to classify orders you have the Kanban statuses, and to group customers you have sales channels.
What are tags for?
Some common examples:
- On designs: "Miniatures", "Functional", "Needs supports", "Validated", "High turnover".
- On products: "New", "On sale", "Gift", "Customizable", "Seasonal".
They serve two purposes:
- Filtering the Designs and Products lists by category in one click.
- Choosing what to publish to a marketplace: when publishing to Etsy or Shopify you can filter products by tag instead of ticking them one by one.
Creating a tag
- Go to Settings → Operations → Tags.
- Click "New tag".
- Type the name and pick an identifying color.
- Save.
The tag is now available to assign to designs and products.
You can also create a tag on the fly, without leaving the screen: the tag selector of a design or a product (and the filter in the Designs and Products lists) has a button for creating a new one.
Assigning tags
- On designs: open the design record → Tags selector.
- On products: open the product record → Tags selector.
You can assign several tags to the same design or product.
From the Designs and Products lists the same selector works as a filter: you pick one or more tags and the list narrows down to whatever carries them.
Editing or deleting tags
From Settings → Operations → Tags you can change the name or the color of an existing tag. If you delete a tag, it's removed from every design and product that had it assigned.
Deleting a heavily used tag can lose you classification information. If you simply want to change the concept, rename it instead.

The Settings → Operations → Tags page is only visible to the Owner and Admins; a Worker can create new tags from the selector, but can't edit or delete existing ones.
